    Eating the lunch combo number 2 right now. Right off of their little buffet.
    Ordered Hunan Chicken, Sweet and Sour chicken, and fried rice!
    Hunan is pretty good. Good, sweet taste.
    Sweet and sour is pretty generic. Nothing special.
    Same with the fried rice. Generic,but good.

    Enjoying my food!
    I wasn't expecting the best of the best, so no expectations were crushed.
    But good enough to enjoy!

    Really wanted some almond chicken and they do not have this on the menu.  When I asked they told me the Golden boneless chicken was the same minus the almonds. Not even close!
    What arrived at the table in a plastic to go container was some very bland instant white rice (not jasmine or basmati) and a fried chicken breast with maybe 2-3 small pieces of green onion under the chicken, a side of bland soup/multipurpose gravy. Chicken patty at Mc D's and other burger places offer more flavor than what was offered in this dish.
    Also placed an order for Crab Rangoon. These were of fair size and did have flavor.
    Interior is very aged. Not too big a deal but it is also used to store pans, catering items and miscellaneous junk

    Too bad because when possible I like to support local mom and pop restaurants.

    I would say avoid this place plenty of other options near by.

    Oily and soggy food. Super inconsistent with the quality. Would not recommend unless you enjoy feeling sick later.

    Ordered a carry out of the General Tso chicken and it was absolutely terrible. Could not even eat it. Threw it in the garbage. Never again

    I would say China Express has some pretty good Chinese food. Probably the best option we have in Monroe area. I have had better though. I always phone my order in to carry out. Can be a bit of a wait otherwise.
